In 1 Timothy 3:16 Paul says that great is the mystery of godliness.  Godliness is to be god-like-ness.  Paul goes on to list 6 fundamental truths about God.  1. – God was manifested in the flesh.  2. – He was justified in the Spirit.  3. – He was seen by angels.  4. – He was preached among the gentiles.  5. – He was believed on in the world.  6. – He was received up in glory.  We can only have god-like-ness through Jesus Christ.
