The Tabernacle

In Exodus 25-40 we have 10 chapters specifically focused on the Tabernacle.  The Tabernacle was a portable structure that God instructed Moses to build so that He could dwell with His people, the Israelites.  God gave Moses very explicit instructions on how to build it because we see that all the items of furniture point to Jesus Christ.  In the New Testament we see that Jesus came and tabernacled (dwelt) among us.  God desires to dwell with us.  Jesus perfectly kept the law and was completely sinless and He offered Himself a sacrifice for us all.  As He died on the cross the veil to the Holy of Holies was torn top to bottom, showing us that we have full bold access to the Lord through Jesus Christ.  What a privilege we have!
